Sightseeing
There are so many activities to enjoy here in the Okanagan; no matter what time of year, no matter what your passion or hobby might be, it truly is a four-season playground. We have water sports galore; you can enjoy a leisurely tour of the lake, take out a paddle board, go windsurfing or sailing, take a jet boat ride, jump on a Sea Doo, go fishing, or just relax on one of the beautiful beaches. Swing your way through one of the many outstanding golf courses in the area. Take some time to appreciate some of the wonderfully talented artisans we have in the area, from painters and potters to jewelry and cheese makers, to producers of honey and lavender oils. You could visit the oldest Family Run Orchard {est. 1933}, or the oldest Family Run Winery in B.C. {est. 1972}. A short ride south of Kelowna there is a 1912 Steam Locomotive that will transport you back in time.

Yes, there are many wonderful things to see in the Okanagan- we’ve even got kangaroos! Have you ever seen a mountain that looks like a cake? We’ve got that, located just fifteen minutes from downtown Kelowna. Interested in experiencing breathtaking views as you walk or bicycle along a rail bed? Just follow the Kettle Valley Rail Trail, where you can conquer the tunnels and trestles that were constructed at the turn of the last century! A little more adrenaline required to keep you happy? Zip-lining over canyons and forests or a ride through the bush on a quad will do the trick. With three amazing ski hills in the area, we’ve got the snow enthusiasts covered too! And of course, the beautiful Okanagan is also home to over 120 wineries, offering visitors a chance to experience the tastes and sights of the Valley.
